Design Block 11 in Merwede Utrecht revealed

After Block 1 and Block 2, we can now proudly share the design of Block 11 in the car-free green urban district Merwede Utrecht! This urban block provides space for 205 social rental housing units and 171 free sector private housing units, combined with a lively plinth, innovative mobility facilities and a green environment. Block 11 consists of thirteen buildings, each with its own identity. To enhance the variation, we collaborated with BETA and ZOETMULDER for a number of buildings. The raised inner garden, designed by Burobol, offers residents a green oasis for recreation and play.

This design by GROUP A, commissioned by Greystar, contributes to a sustainable and attractive living and working environment in Merwede Utrecht.
