After nearly 30 years at GROUP A, Adam Visser takes a new direction

Due to health reasons, Adam is shifting his focus and, together with Maarten and Folkert, has decided to step down from his position at GROUP A.

Adam Visser, along with Maarten van Bremen and Folkert van Hagen, was one of the founders of our office. Since then, he has passionately contributed to shaping our vision and projects. As a co-founder, he was a driving force behind our design practice.

Maarten and Folkert:
“From day one, Adam has been a key figure within GROUP A. His sharp eye for the city, his dedication to complex challenges, and his connecting role within the team have been of great value. With his warm personality, he built strong relationships both inside and outside the firm. We are deeply grateful for his years of commitment, collaboration and friendship.”

Within GROUP A, Adam played an important role in developing our vision of urban design. His approach – where urban planning and architecture are closely intertwined – continues to be a cornerstone of our work on future-proof cities.

Adam is now direct his attention from leading a practice to further exploring his personal field. Through Atelier Stadsontwerp, he will continue his work and looks forward to potential future collaborations with GROUP A.

We wish Adam every success in this next chapter.
