Central Park, Hembrug and Brainpark 1 longlisted for ARC22 Awards
The editors of de Architect have selected Central Park Utrecht for the longlist of the ARC22 Architecture Award.
The ARC Architecture Award is granted to recently realized projects that combine sustainability and innovation with surprising architecture. The goal of the award is to promote sustainability as an integral part of the design.
The jury is looking for projects that are innovative in the fields of energy, materials and technology, that set new standards for commercial real estate, housing and public facilities or that solve urban and/or ecological problems.
Hembrug Zaandam by BURA and Brainpark 1 by the Municipality of Rotterdam, projects on which GROUP A is working, are also on the longlist in the Urban Design category.
The independent juries will select three projects per category for the shortlist. They will visit these projects in early October to announce the winner during a festive ceremony on 2 November.
