Ferro Offices completed

Ferro Offices has been completed in the Merwe-Vierhavens (M4H) area in Rotterdam. The former headquarters from 1969 has been radically renovated by GROUP A into a future-proof multi-tenant building for port pioneers working on the port of tomorrow.

By retaining the existing structure, CO₂ emissions have been reduced with approximately 75% compared to new construction. New interventions, including a central atrium with a sculptural staircase, an additional floor and a biobased façade, give the building a contemporary identity.

Ferro Offices demonstrates how the reuse of buildings plays a key role in the sustainability of the built environment and the transformation of the Rotterdam Makers District.
