Gortercomplex approaching completion
The Gortercomplex in Leiden is nearing completion. The final works are currently being carried out. In addition to the transformation of the former TNO laboratory, two new residential towers have been built. Together they offer space for 213 city apartments. If everything goes as expected, the construction work will be completed in March, after which the houses can be handed over.
Many of the original elements have been retained in the monumental building. Through the use of similar brickwork, the buildings are visually connected. The Gortercomplex is part of the transformation of the campus-like Boerhaave area in Leiden. This former university site will house a combination of living, working and educational functions. GROUP A is involved in this project since 2016.
