TNO Building Innovation Lab

Proud to see TNO’s new Building Innovation Lab in use. In this lab TNO works on innovations that are needed to make the built environment more sustainable. They research circular building materials, they have special climate chambers which they use to develop and test heat pumps and they have heavy set-ups to study how structures break down, for example due to fatigue. but they also have heavy set-ups to investigate how structures deteriorate, by fatigue for example.

The Building Innovation Lab, designed by GROUP A, unites test halls, research laboratories and offices in one sustainable building that is also used as a living lab.
