Key handover TNO Lab TU Delft

Last week we officially completed the casco of our TNO BI&M laboratory cluster at the TU Campus Delft. At the laboratory TNO researches innovation and longevity extension of materials, energy and constructions in buildings. The interior and installations will be fitted in the coming 3 months and the official opening will take place in summer.

GROUP A’s design connects work, testing and research in order to stimulate meeting and knowledge sharing. The starting point of the design is to make the work of TNO more visible, in which openness is the driving force behind joint innovation. Making TNO’s work more visible starts at the main entrance where the transparent interspace connects the test halls with the laboratory and office wing. This double-high corridor – between the sections of the building – is not only traffic space but also meeting place and area through which the installations to be tested run.

TNO Lab is the result of a collaboration between end user TNO, developer Stone22, GROUP A and investor a.s.r. Dutch Science Park Fund.
