Carbon Stories: Policymakers as Inspiring Drivers of Change
From the National Climate Expo in Houten we invite you to a special edition of the debate series Carbon Stories on Wednesday 17 April. We zoom in on the role of the government in the transition to a climate-positive built environment. The municipality of Rotterdam, AM Gebiedsontwikkeling DGBC and GROUP A-CARBONLAB share inspiring examples and debate what changes are needed.
What are the possibilities of CO2 reduction in the built environment? To stay within the Paris Agreement, ambition from the market and steering by the government on reducing material-related CO2 is necessary. How do the tightened MPG standard and the Global Warming Potential (GWPa) indicator work? What does this mean for the various disciplines? These questions will be addressed in the panel discussion moderated by Liesbeth Schievink.
