Engineer & Build signed for Central Park

With the signing of the Engineer & Build agreement, office development Central Park is going to be realized! A nice addition to the skyline of Utrecht.

A joint venture of APF International and Angelo Gordon has signed an Engineer & Build Agreement with Bouwcombinatie Westflank Noord V.O.F. Westflank Noord is a collaboration between Bouwbedrijf Wessels Zeist and Bouwbedrijf Wessels Rijssen. On behalf of the joint venture, the construction consortium will carry out the design and constructing of the Central Park office building.

The construction of the 30,000 m2 office tower will start at the end of this year. The ninety-meter high building will be placed next to the municipality office. Because of a constriction at a height of 45 meters, the volume is divided into two volumes. This horizontal accent has two layers and connects to the municipality office. In contrast to the office façade, is the facade of the constellation completely transparent, with sculpturally shaped edges at the top and the bottom. The interior includes a courtyard and meeting place.
