Park with a glass façade
Last month a lot happened on the construction site of Central Park. We almost reached the highest point and with the closing of the façade we are now on the 17th floor. But there is also worked hard to place the (curved) glass on the 11th and 12th floor, the location where the ‘park’ in the building will be realized. A very intensive job for the people on the construction site. The void and the great view of the skyline of Utrecht are already visible.
MOSS (Makers of Sustainable Spaces) is responsible for the design of the inner park, which consists of several gardens with sun- and shadow-loving plants. On the north side there will be beautiful large dark green plants, which give a ‘forest feeling’. On the south side the plants are ‘lighter’ and more colorful. A wooden walkway and flowing water offer the optimal park experience. This semi-public ‘green park’, centrally located in the multi tenant office tower, provides a healthier living and working environment.
